Douro Royal Valley Hotel & Spa, Ribadouro

The hotel had the comfiest bed and great amenities one would expect from a 5* hotel. However, cleanliness was an issue with items left uncleaned in the room. The location was top-notch, overlooking the River Douro, but lacked something in terms of exploring vineyards. The dining experience was incredible every morning, but service needed improvement.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious, bright, and tastefully decorated with large balconies overlooking the river, giving me a sense of privacy. The service was top-notch, with extremely friendly and helpful staff always ready to assist, from the pool bar to the room service. The location was stunning, overlooking the River Douro with an infinity pool on the seventh floor offering breathtaking views. The dining experience was delightful, with a variety of tasty and diversified options. The facilities were excellent, making my stay truly enjoyable.
